Flash 8 ExternalInterface class

I have an example of the new ExternalInterface class at the following URL

The example doesn't look too pretty, but it shows communication between Flash and JavaScript in a way that previously required hacks to do. Source is shown as well.

Thanks! They are for an upcoming book. I may be able to get permission to put some sample content up, but at the moment they are book-only. Once all the revisions are done, I will be able to put up more original content on my blog/web site, including samples and tutorials.

i wanted to check out your example, but i get an error on the page:
